The meeting will be held at the Villa Maria Lecture Hall, 2551 West 8th Street. It is accessible from either the 8th Street or 12th Street entrance. Please note that this auditorium is located next to Villa Elementary on the old Villa College campus. (It is not located in Villa High School.) A wine reception will follow the presentation. Amy Cuzzola-Kern, Vice President of Programs at The Erie Community Foundation, will present the new core programs and services to be offered in 2005. Our core programming will consist of capacity building grants, open-enrollment education, governance training, & peer learning and exchange opportunities. We are taking our services to the next level and the 2005 menu of services is quite different from past programming. Please plan to join us! Christopher R. Hoyt, Esq., Professor of Law at the University of Missouri (Kansas City) School of Law will speak on "Charitable Estate Planning: Selecting the best assets for lifetime and testamentary gifts." Professor Hoyt serves on the editorial boards of Trusts and Estate Magazine and the Planned Giving Design Center. He is a frequent speaker at legal and educational programs and has been quoted in numerous publications including The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, MONEY Magazine, and The Washington Post. Professor Hoyt is the author of The Legal Compendium for Community Foundations, the most widely used legal reference for community foundations. He is currently the Co-Chair of the American Bar Association's Committee on Lifetime and Testamentary Charitable Gift Planning. In addition, he serves as legal counsel to The Greater Kansas City Community Foundation. This presentation will take place Tuesday, February 15th, 3:00 - 4:30 pm, at the Bel Aire Hotel, 2800 West 8th St, Erie, PA.
