[Nonprofit_Partnership_Members] The Nonprofit Partnership/Bracken Award Deadline

Applications for the 2005 Charles H. Bracken Excellence in Nonprofit
Governance Award are due March 18, 2005. (Information and application
forms were mailed to member agencies in February.)  A committee of
community leaders will review the submitted applications. Applications
will be ranked based on each applicant's demonstration of excellence in
nonprofit governance regarding commitment to mission, leadership,
recruitment, policy making, fundraising, diversity, effective governance
practices, and fiscal management. The winning agency will be announced
at the June 20th Annual Meeting of The Erie Community Foundation and
will receive $5,000 cash award to be used for governance and management
support purposes.
